Time for the second meeting of the year. If you're not on the committee and would still like to help out, you can turn up to this meeting.

If anyone else has anything else to add, please post. These three items will probably take some time. Can people that have looked into venues please bring the info with them so we can compare.

were you going to be proposing a different theme, or just adding stuff for the one we have in mind? If it's the latter, there will be plenty of chances for that later.

If the screening finishes at 5:30, then 5:30, if it finishes at 6, then 6

I don't think I will be able to hang around for this meeting, sorry guys.
I'm pretty sick and doubt I will be able to stay at the screening for very long as is.
I just want to put in a word for having the date BEFORE uni semester goes back, otherwise I may well be living in Lonnie when AIcon is on and wont be able to get down.

Ummm,I know it worked well for me and the others from up here that Ai-Con was on that long weekend.It meant we could get to and from Hobart,without missing on any of the con.Otherwise,we would have missed on probably the final few hours of the con.Ummm...I'll shut up now...hehehe

I personally like it after uni goes back myself because of the extra advertising opportunities it gives us. But we'll keep everything in mind when we decide dates, I doubt we'll get that far this weekend, hard to get dates when you don't have the venue.

Just my 2 cents, but I agree with 100%. One of the reasons I haven't made it down is because its during 1st semester, so before semester would be cool!

Fair enough man. I only noticed this thread yesterday, and then misread the date anyway so I thought it was recent. So apologies for flogging a dead horse as it were.
